movies, sports events and more. Data may include synopsis, rating, broadcast

channel, time slot, series information, and year of production. Your current program

will continue to display in the scaled video view in the upper right hand corner.

lock status, start/end time, channel and

channel call numbers.

Scaled video viewing

Uninterrupted viewing of the currently tuned

channel.

Episode/Program synopsis.

Press 4 to return to the TV Listings Grid.

Press 5 for one-step parental lock (see next

section).

Accessing the Program Information Screen

Press INFO from the TV Listings Grid.

asy-to-use parental controls allow you to set viewing

restrictions by channel and rating. The settings menu enables

you to set up a PIN (Personal Identication Number) that can be

used to apply these Parental Controls. Locked programs cannot

be viewed until the PIN is entered.

Setting up your PIN

1 Press INFO on the Remote Control.

2 Press 9 to access Settings.

3 Parental Control will be the default.

4 Press 6 (right) to highlight the second column. Set PIN will be

highlighted. Notice the status column on the right – it reads

Not Set (Figure 1).

5 Press 5 (OK). A pop-up window appears.

6 Enter a 4 digit PIN of your choice.

7 The guide will prompt you to conrm your PIN (Figure 2).

Once conrmed, the status column should now read Set.

Quick Tip

When available, press the MENU button on your

remote to access Parental Controls and General

Setup. Remotes may vary by cable service provider.
